School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)

At St Patrick’s, we are proud to implement School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) as a whole-school framework to promote a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students.

SWPBS helps us create clear expectations, teach positive behaviours, and celebrate the great choices our students make every day. It ensures that all students know what is expected of them and feel supported to make positive contributions to our school community.

Our values of Be Your Best, Be Respectful, and Be Safe underpin everything we do at St Pat’s. These values guide our behaviour expectations in the classroom, on the playground, and in every part of school life. Through explicit teaching, consistent routines, and a focus on recognising positive behaviour, we are helping our students to develop strong social and emotional skills that will serve them well beyond primary school.

At St Patrick’s, we believe that by working together — students, staff, and families — we can build a positive, connected school culture where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
