The School Advisory Council is a vital group working in your interest for St. Patrick’s. Its membership of 10 comprises representatives from our parent body, school staff and our Parish Priest as well the school principal and 6 parent members.
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is the leading advisory group for the Principal, as an active forum for parent and community participation, providing support and advice in strategic planning, school improvement, educational outcomes and stewardship of resources.
The SAC members do not have any financial or non-financial decision making powers. It is recommended that an Advisory Council operate on a model of cooperation and consensus.

If you have any concerns, ideas for school improvement or if you are seeking information, please feel free to contact an Advisory Council Member, so that your views may be presented. Observers are always welcome at School Advisory Council Meetings.
