Digital Technology / eSmart

This year, the majority of students have used devices more than ever to find meaningful ways to connect with each other through online learning, gaming or social interaction. Teachers have worked hard to guide positive technology use and many have used eSmart's tools to help facilitate the online learning experience across the school as well as engaging with families. Over the holidays, let us remember to put into practice all that we have learnt on cybersafety and use technology correctly while remembering to be responsible and compassionate online and offline.
eSmart’s Top 10 Cybersaftey Tips:
- Use tech to make life better.
- Keep your balance.
- Boundaries.
- Respect others.
- Keep everything updated.
- Beware of spam.
- Keep your cool.
- Keep your friends close and strangers at arm’s length.

Third Week of Advent
This week is the third week of advent where we focus on the theme of joy in spiritual preparation before Christmas. It reminds us of the joyful celebration that the world experienced at the birth of baby Jesus. We prepare our hearts and feel the light shining into dark places in our lives as we experience the presence of joy and hope. We light two purple candles and one rose pink candle on our advent wreath.

Birthdays

Happy Birthday to the following students who celebrate their birthdays this week .
