Our Prayer

From the Principal

Dear parents, carers and community members,
We come to our final week of the school year and we are celebrating all of the achievements of 2022. As a school, we would like to thank our families and community members for their care and support this year to make it an amazing year of fun and learning across the school. I would like to thank our dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to overcome some challenging circumstances to still provide great opportunities for growth and learning for the children. Thank you to our school leaders who have supported me greatly settling into the role of principal this year. We would like to wish all our families and students a peaceful and family-filled Christmas and school holidays.
School Disco

The SRC school 'disco' last Friday was a wonderful celebration with children busting their moves to some new music and some old classics. Thank you to all the Grade 6 students who have given of their time all year to build the SRC into a strong voice for the students in our school.
Canteen

The canteen will remain open until Tuesday the 13th December. From Wednesday onwards students will need to bring all of their food from home.
Grade 6 Graduation

Our Grade 6 Graduation ceremony will be held at St Patrick's Church on Wednesday the 14th of December at 6pm-7.15pm. There is limited seating at the church and families of Grade 6 students have been invited to apply for 4 adult tickets per family. If you are a parent of a Grade 6 student and are yet to request tickets, please click on the link below to do so.
Foundation Excursion Change

Our Foundation classes will still be heading off on their excursion tomorrow, Tuesday the 13th of December, however, the terrible weather forecast has caused a rethink of the destination for the day. More information to follow.
Grade 6 Excursion Change
Due to the forecast of rain and low temperatures, our Grade 6 excursion on Thursday the 15th of December to Port Campbell will now be changed to Colac. The children will travel by bus to attend the Colac Cinemas for a viewing of 'Strange World' and then go to the Colac Tenpin Bowl for a game of bowls. Lunch will be provided for the students.

Swimming Program

Our swimming program for Grade 3-6 students will start on the 1st Februaury at the Camperdown Swimming pool.
If you have not completed the permission on Pam please do so at your earliest convenience.
The swimming carnival will be held on Monday 27th February 2023.
Catholic School Culture

Closing School Mass
The Closing School Mass for St Patrick’s will be held on Friday 16th of December at 11:30am at St Patrick’s Church in Camperdown. The whole school will attend this mass which will be presided over by Fr. Neville and the readings and jobs will be carried out by the grade 6 children. Presentations will take place at the conclusion of mass. This is also the last day of school for students for 2022 and the school day concludes at 3:15pm. If any parents wish to pick up their children earlier, they must be signed out from the school office and children will not be allowed to leave from the church. There will also be a brief assembly in the afternoon prior to the conclusion of the school day. Parents are welcome to attend the mass and/or assembly.
