Our Prayer

From the Principal

Dear parents, carers and community members,
School is well under way now with students and staff settling into the routine of our of relatively normal school life. Everyone has been very supportive with the cases of covid that have emerged and we are enjoying the return of many of these staff and students after their time in isolation. Our St Patrick's community has been fortunate that we have not had significant staff numbers impacted by COVID such that we have continued to provide quality learning and teaching and student care. I remind families that this could change quickly and the school may be required to ask some classes or year levels to stay home if we do not have adequate staff numbers onsite. We hope that this is not the case, but if it does become a necessity, we will work hard to minimise any disruption.
"Twosday"

Dear Parents/Guardians and friends of the 3/4 Learning Area, St Patrick’s Primary School Camperdown,
Celebrating “Twosday”
As you may be aware, tomorrow is one of the most interesting dates in the 21st Century. It will be the 22nd of February 2022, or 22/02/2022. It is both a palindrome (written the same backwards and forwards), has the most twos in it of any date of the calendar for 1800 years, and will not be beaten for another 200 years. To celebrate this too too remarkable date, everyone in Grades 3 and 4 is invited to wear a Tutu over their school clothes, tomorrow Tuesday the 22nd in celebration of two-two Twosday.
Hoping your “Twosday” is Two-riffic,
Matthew Coop – 34C

Opening Year Liturgies
On Friday the F-2 bubble and the grade 3/4 bubble held their Opening Year Liturgies at separate times in the Big Room. The theme was Beacons of Hope which encouraged us all to be Beacons of Hope for others by being encouraging, optimistic, uplifting of others, a good listener, a Gospel person and a shining light through our words and deeds. The children carried out the readings, the prayers and sang beautifully.
