From the Principal
Hello to everyone,
Welcome to week 20 & the last week of term 2,
We had a wonderful disco last Friday evening. Many thanks to everyone for supporting this fun school event. Probably our biggest student crowd ever.
This week we have Learning Conversations for all grades. A great way to end the term by chatting with your child/rens teacher as to how they are going.
We have a School Advisory Council meeting tomorrow night, community meal for 5/6W on Wednesday, a visit to the Kinder & Banana Splits on Thursday for our Foundation team and it is our last day on Friday. Don't forget the early finish (2.05 for bus travellers & 2.15 for everyone else).
I hope everyone has an enjoyable week and a great 2 week break. Lets hope & pray that nothing goes astray and we get to do those things we want to over the holidays.
Stay safe,
Mick

To be organised and on time.
We will be working through this with the children about the importance of being organised and how this will look in their classroom.
School Term 2 Disco: Fancy Formal

Our school disco was last Friday evening & the theme ws Fancy Formal. We had a huge crowd in attendance on the night and everyone seemed to enjoy the festivities that took place.
Can I thank the grade 5/6 teachers, students & SRC for their help in getting the decorations up and helping on the night.
Can I also thank all the students for coming along and suporting this night. All money raised will be put towards helping offset the costs for the students going to the grade 6 camp
Term 2 Disco

Community Meal: Wednesday 23rd June
Grade 5/6W will be hosting the community meal at the Uniting Church this Wednesday 23rd June. This is certainly an activity I know our children enjoy and I know they are appreciated when doing it. Thank you to the parents in the 5/6 area that help ensure this is a worthwhile activity for all by supplying delicious, wholesome food for the occasion.
2022 Kinder Visit & Banana Splits visit
Enrolment packages have gone out to Kinders. If you know of anyone who may like a tour remind them they can call the school anytime to arrange a suitable time.
We will be visiting the Camperdown Kinder & Banana Splits this Thursday 24th for an opportunity for our teaching staff to meet with the Kinder children. They will be involved in a couple of activities with the children. We will also be visiting the other Kinders in our area: Simpson, Cobden, Timboon & Western Plains, hopefully on Thursday 22nd July.
Term 3 Visits
The Kinder children will be here at St Patrick's early next term on Thursday 15th & Thursday 29th July from 9.00-11.00 to do some activities in the school. All children from other local kinders are invited on these days.
IGA Card as a school fundraiser
Our Fundraising Partner Ritchies IGA, have launched their new Ritchies Card, incorporating the Community Benefit Program and this will not only benefit our organisation, but also all our families.
It is very important that families get one of the new Riches cards and present this when they are shopping at IGA, as we get on average $100 a month and over the years have received over $40,000, which is incredible. It is a really simple way to help contribute to our fundraising.
The old system finishes at the end of this month, so now is the time to act to make sure you have transferred over your allegiance to the school as the benefactor of your new card. The program also now has an App for both IOS and Android smart devices. For those members who don’t have a smart phone, or would like a physical card, this option is also available and can be linked to the school.
Every month, our school will receive 0.5%* of our members’ spend in Ritchies Stores PLUS our
members will receive special offers and member only specials via the App.
*T&C’s apply see https://www.ritchies.com.au/ritchiescardterms
Featuring monthly promotions, cheaper prices for you, Collect and Win, as well as games and lots
more fun things to do, this is a great opportunity to support our school.
You can search for Ritchies in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
