From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Friday night's "Kings and Queens" School Disco was a fantastic success, with over 160 students from all year levels joining in the fun in the Big Room. I was especially impressed by the enthusiastic family involvement—students arrived in full theme with robes, face paint, handmade crowns, and even the occasional sword! If this is anything to go by, our upcoming Book Week fashion parade is sure to be a showstopper.

The P&F committee was also thrilled with the turnout and appreciated the strong community spirit. Our school discos are intended to be joyful, inclusive events for all year levels, and Friday night was a perfect example of that. Thank you for your support in making it such an enjoyable evening.

On Sunday, our Whole School Family Mass brought our community together in faith and fellowship. It was a meaningful time to reflect on our shared values and to celebrate the mission of our school. The Mass deepened our spiritual connection while reinforcing the sense of belonging that supports our students’ growth—both academically and spiritually.

Fr George was particularly pleased with the students' participation. Their confident readings and thoughtful engagement in dialogue about the mysteries of Christian faith truly enriched the celebration.

Have an enjoyable week and stay warm everyone.

Kind regards,

Darren.

Aussie of the Month- May

We are delighted to announce that Lyla B is our Aussie of the Month for May!

Lyla is a shining example of kindness, perseverance, and quiet leadership in our school community. She consistently demonstrates our school values in both her learning and her relationships. Lyla approaches each school day with a positive attitude and a calm, thoughtful presence. She is respectful, responsible, and always ready to lend a hand—whether it’s helping a friend, supporting a classmate, or showing empathy during challenging moments.

In the classroom, Lyla gives her best effort in all she does. She listens attentively, works diligently, and never hesitates to take on feedback to improve her work. Her gentle determination and resilience make her a wonderful role model for others.

Perhaps most impressively, Lyla shows kindness not because she is asked to, but because it’s part of who she is. Her classmates know they can count on her to be a loyal friend and a trustworthy teammate.

Well done, Lyla! You are a valued and appreciated member of our school community, and we are so proud to celebrate you as our May Aussie of the Month.

School Disco

Thank you to our amazing Parents and Friends Association who helped run our school disco. You can see by the pictures that the students had an AMAZING night. Students danced the night away and when they needed a break spent some time in the calm zone completing drawings and colouring ins.

AFL Auskick

Last week Tristan from AFL Victoria came to run activities during lunchtime breaks. To follow on from this, there is an afterschool program for any children who would like to participate in more of these fun games and activities. This is for children who have very little experience, but would like to try it out. This is not being run for children who already do Auskick or play under 10/12 football. Details are attached.
