From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we embraced the King's Birthday Long Weekend, many of us were watching the forecast and I hope you received every bit of, if not more than the predicted rainfall. Hopefully the Long Weekend offered a wonderful chance for families to pause and reconnect. The wild weather probably forced us to rest, explore hobbies, and enjoy simple moments together.

The wild, wet weather, limits our student's play options on the school ovals at the moment. During Winter it is still important to venture outside, be active and enjoy the fresh air. In order to care for our muddy ovals, school uniforms and inside carpet areas, our students will be asked to play on the barked playgrounds and hard court areas. During the Winter months our Library continues to be open for those seeking somewhere quiet to draw, colour, read and play.

I cannot wait until Friday’s school disco, themed Kings and Queens! It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students to dress up, dance, and enjoy a fun evening with friends. Whether they come as royal rulers, sparkling princes and princesses, or in their favourite party outfit, the focus is on having a great time. Please read the additional information in the newsletter about entry. Events like this help build a strong school community and create happy memories for our children. If you are a parent who could help out our amazing parent volunteers on the night, please contact the school office. We can’t wait to see our royals hit the dance floor!

As always, I welcome your questions, feedback, or suggestions—please feel free to get in touch at any time.

Warm regards,

Darren Lloyd

To follow on from this, there is an afterschool program for any children who would like to participate in more of these fun games and activities. This is for children who have very little experience, but would like to try it out. This is not being run for children who already do Auskick or play under 10/12 football. Details are attached.
