Confirmation Prayer
As part of our initiation into the Catholic Church, some St Patrick's students are preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation on Friday the 22nd of May. We keep these students in our prayers at this time.
From the Principal
Dear parents, carers and community members,
We have had a great beginning to Term 2. Our staff had a wonderful learning opportunity last Monday when we worked on student wellbeing by continuing our development of a focus on recognising the positive behaviour of students. As we implement these systems we will keep our community informed as to how this is done.
Change to PE days
Please note that 5/6CH will now have sport on a Tuesday and 5/6MJ will be on Thursday.
Could 5/6CH children wear their sport gear tomorrow please
School Closure Day
Please note that Monday the 8th of May is a school closure day for our students whilst staff attend a professional development day. We will be working with an organisation called "Leading Teams" to help develop a shared leadership model in our school. Staff will help formulate how the leadership of the school operates and the expectations of our school community.
ANZAC Day Parade
Thank you to the students and staff who represented our school in the ANZAC Day march in Camperdown and across the region in other ceremonies. The school leaders laid a wreath on behalf of our school community. The students were able to describe what the day meant to them when we discussed ANZAC day back at school.
Upgrades Around Our School
We have made several changes and upgrades around the school over the school holidays.
1. Our Auslan/Health class has moved from the portable out the back to room 10. This has been renovated to make it a very pleasant place to work and learn.
2. We have engaged an arborist to remove aging trees and to thin out the bushes in our school grounds. This has made it a more pleasant place to play and improved supervision of students.
3. We have removed the last of our blackboards from the school and replaced them with new whiteboards.
4. We have replanted our front entrance garden beds after the removal of some older trees.
Schoolzine App
Please find information below regarding an update of the Schoolzine app that you will need to install on your device.
You will be asked for a passcode for a school. That code is 2561.
If you are having difficulty submitting this code, it may be that your phone font is too large. Please go to your phone settings and reduce your font size and then try again.
Grade 4 Camp
Our Grade 4 children went on camp to Ballarat last Thursday and Friday. The student were fully immersed in life in the 1850's by attending the school program. The children enjoyed the many attractions at Sovereign Hill and also participated in the many tours and activities such as gold panning, mine tours, smelting of gold. In the evening they attended the Aura sound and light show.
Junior School Mass
Our Junior (Foundation to Grade 2) School Mass that was planned for last Friday has been rescheduled to this Friday, the 5th of May. We look forward to celebrating this liturgy with families and parishioners at 9:30am.
School Photos

'I Can' Imagination Club
For families of students who are to be enrolled in the program here is the 2023 unique registration link for registration.
IMPORTANT - Please do not use any links you may have previously received as the above link is unique to your school and programs for 2023.
This program will start on Monday the 15th May.
During the first mentoring session we will collect student data via our pre-program survey which will be compared against the post-program student survey in your final session. This data will help you assess the impact of the program and your investment.
Thank you for your trust. We hope we achieve a great program for your students, families and school.
ECSI reminder
A reminder to the parents that received an email asking you to complete our ECSI survey this year, could you please log on to complete the survey by this Friday, May 5th.
